Samsung has just launched the successor of the Galaxy M31, the Samsung Galaxy M31s. It hasn’t been long since the launch of the Galaxy M31 in February. This device seems to be fulfilling the need of the hour. As the demand for a good non-Chinese mid-range phone is at an all-time high right now. It goes on sale on August 6 through Amazon India. Let’s see what this phone has to offer before you buy it.
The Galaxy M31s sports a large 6.5-inch Super AMOLED infinity-O display. By Infinity-O, we mean a 34MP hole-punch camera in the front. The screen comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Although, the body is made of plastic the back of the phone has a gradient colour scheme. Which gives it a great flagship glass back look. It has the fingerprint sensor mounted on the side which a lot of people desire.
It has the same massive 6000mAh battery from M31. However, M31s comes with faster 25W charging support along with 25W charger out of the box. Samsung is charging ₹19,499 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant and at ₹21,499 for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant.
On the back, the phone hosts a Quad Camera setup. There is a 64MP primary Sony IMX682 shooter with a 12MP ultrawide camera. Moreover, it also has a 5MP macro lens and a 5MP depth sensor. More on the hardware, the device runs on Samsung’s in house Exynos 9611 chipset. Samsung also provides reverse charging technology that lets you use the 6000mAh battery as a power bank.
The phones offer the best specs except for the processor which is comparatively weaker than its competitors like Snapdragon 720G/730G. Even the POCO M2 Pro which comes at ₹13,999 have better processor than Samsung M31s. All things considered, it’s a great phone if you’re looking to buy a smartphone below ₹20,000. And if you are looking for a Non-Chinese smartphone like a lot of people are right now then Samsung Galaxy M31s is the one for you.
